My name is Brittany Kaye Long. I'm a twenty-year-old hairstylist and makeup artist by day, and blogger by night. This blog is a place for me to share my life with you. Posts may include anything from makeup and hair, to fashion, diary posts, product reviews, and life/career updates.

I started my journey at beauty school back in 2013, taking the cosmetology program. Throughout my 13 months there I learned a lot, not just from the school itself, but from my experiences and extra classes that I took. At this time I worked at Sephora while going to school. I incorporated makeup and hair into everything I did. I constantly made trips to Los Angeles for classes that I would sign up for. Some were hair classes and some were makeup. By the end of my term in beauty school, I had already started working as a freelance makeup artist and was an intern for a fashion website on top of my job at Sephora. I graduated on Halloween, 2014. I obtained my cosmetology license on December 2nd, 2014.

I am currently working at a salon in Los Angeles while I save up money to start another school. This time it will be a school for solely makeup.

My dreams don't stop there.

In the much later future, I also want to go to fashion school.

Only time will tell what becomes of my life. Even I can't really predict it because my life is ever-changing; non-static. I only know that wherever I end up, I'll be happy.
